Happy Tappers NFC Payment Campaign

To celebrate the launch of their contactless payment app, NAB wanted to treat their customers to an unexpected experience and give them the opportunity to test it out for themselves.

Happy Tappers popped up for five days in Melbourne and Sydney, with a new deal a day. From 1 Buck Burgers to 7 Cent Happy Sock to 6 Cent Smoothies, there was something to get everyone tapping.

Happy Tappers reached 1.5m people across one week, engaging 10,400 NAB customers, which accounted for 33% of the total Android users in Sydney and Melbourne. NAB Tap and Pay became one of the Google Play store’s top three apps raising NAB cards signings by 84% - 30 people even opened a NAB account just to participate.
